What bike should I choose? Back to top Back to top
The most popular bike for casual, round- the- bay- trail touring is the comfort hybrid. The second most popular bike is the comfort mountain

The "rides" that you have listed on your site...are they group rides or rides that customers take themselves?
Are they self guided or will a guide be with us?
We encourage people to go on their own. We rent bikes to promote certain "rides", as they are easily accessed by the Bay Trail (the path in SF Bay Area that wraps around the entire bay, starting just blocks from our shop). These rides are perfect for self guided touring. The staff here rides, we know the area, the trails, etc, and will go over the map giving little details to insure you’re ready for a self guided journey! Still, we have guides available daily if you require

I am an event planner. Are guided tours available? Back to top

I want to bring my own pedals. Can you put them on for me? Back to top

I’m reserving our bikes today, but what if I choose the wrong ones. Can we switch at your shop? Back to top
Sure you can. More than anything we want you to be comfortable and satisfied
with your bike(s)!

We have young children. Can they do these rides? Back to top
Kids have all different riding skill levels. The good news is we have something for everyone! The baby seat can fit a six month old up to a sturdy toddler while the trailer is good for carrying 1-2 toddlers and their gear. Adults can pair up with a child, via tag-a-long or tandem bicycle: both are great for the budding cyclist who pedals only when inclined, but still feels the pride of the ride!

Do you have weekly rates? Can we rent racks to haul our bikes on our vacation? Back to top
We have weekly rates available. Click on “contact us"? tab and tell us your dates and we’ll offer you a great long term rate. And yes, we do have racks available for all types of vehicles.

Are reservations necessary? How far in advance do I need to reserve? Back to top
Reserving a bike in advance will give you a 10% discount and make the process of getting your bike go faster, as the paperwork is done and the bikes are ready for you.
You can reserve anytime!

Reservations are especially recommended for the road, performance mtn, and dual suspension bikes.

I am the worst with maps. Can someone explain the ride to me before I leave? Back to top
We specialize in mapping a ride perfectly for you. We will do our best to make sure you know the route before departure, no worries!

Where are you located? Back to top
We have two convenient locations in Fisherman’s Wharf, just blocks from the bay trail…. You can take the downtown cable car to the Wharf from the turn around on Powell/ Market (nearby Union Square).

If taking the Powell/ Mason cable car, everyone gets off at Taylor and Bay in Fisherman’s Wharf: we are 1.5 blocks down Taylor. If taking the Powell/Hyde cable car, everyone gets of at Beach and Hyde in Fisherman’s Wharf: turn right on Beach, walk a few meters and take an immediate right on Columbus. We are mid block!
